Abacus Voted ‘Best New Technology’ at Travel Weekly China’s 2013 Travel & Meeting Industry Awards
The result of this year’s TravelWeekly China’s 2013 Travel & Meeting Industry Awards saw Abacus International pick up the ‘Best New Technology’ accolade in recognition for the company’s travel technologies judged to be most beneficial in terms of increasing productivity and efficiency to the travel industry in China.
Held annually, TravelWeekly China’s highly-anticipated awards were conducted over a four-month period, a process involving judging from 17 industry experts and TravelWeekly China’s readers’ casting their votes based on a number of stringent criteria, including product innovation, competitive development strategies and business execution. Abacus was once again recognised for its valuable contribution in technology innovation for the travel industry, an honour it now has received for the sixth time.
Abacus International’s President and CEO, Robert Bailey, commented: “Abacus is delighted to win this prestigious award as there is no better endorsement than being recognised by our peers and the industry for our technology innovation which is at the heart of what we do as a company. We celebrate this award by also remembering all who got us to the top – our customers, partners and employees. ”
The TravelWeekly China Travel and Meetings Industry Awards 2013 were presented at a gala cocktail event on 8 May at the Hongta Hotel, Shanghai.
