Celebrating this new milestone, Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines and Abacus Philippines are running a Triple Double awareness promotion in Philippines. This program is open to all Abacus-connected travel agents in Manila and ends on 8 October 2010.

Mr. Kawasaki’s keynote speech will address “The Art of Innovation” - the way to inspire and direct companies to innovate. He will lay out the strategic steps on how to create new products and services by drawing upon his rich experience with Apple as well as his study of dozens of world-class companies.

Abacus Philippines recently concluded the Iloilo Joint Product Update on 28 July 2010. More than 40 travel agencies from Iloilo and Bacolod attended this event. Airlines representatives from British Airways, China Airlines, EVA Airways, Philippines Airways, Qatar Airways, Royal Brunei, Sri Lankan Airlines and Turkish Airlines attended the session to share more about their latest products and new services.

Starting June 2010, Abacus-connected travel agents no longer need to approach the Airline’s Reservation Office only to settle the refund of taxes. The refund of taxes can be done conveniently via the Abacus system. With the automation of this new function, travel agents and airline reservation offices can now concentrate their time and manpower in providing better quality services to their customers.
